### What is Copilot?

Copilot is our built-in AI assistant that empowers you to work smarter. It brings advanced Agentic Commerce capabilities directly into the Shopware Admin – ready to assist with content, products, and operations whenever needed.

### What is Agentic Commerce?

Agentic Commerce refers to online shopping tasks carried out by autonomous AI agents on behalf of users – from product discovery to checkout. At Shopware, we also use this term to describe the use of AI agents within shop administration, where they support merchants by automating routine tasks and streamlining workflows.

### What is Shopware's vision for the Copilot?

We envision Copilot as an agentic AI service that actively supports merchants in managing their online stores. Copilot will analyze store data and detect anomalies, provide actionable recommendations, and perform tasks directly within the Shopware environment on the merchant’s behalf. Our long-term vision is for Copilot to become the central command layer for automating and orchestrating a wide range of tasks across the Shopware administration.

### Who can use the Copilot?

Copilot is currently available to all customers from Shopware 6.7.1.0 onwards. Advanced Copilot Skills can be booked via [Shopware Intelligence+](https://www.shopware.com/en/pricing/#shopware-intelligence-plus) with additional costs from Shopware Version 6.7.3\. onwards.

### Which technology is Shopware Intelligence using?

The infrastructure of Copilot is fully hosted in Europe, ensuring data sovereignty and compliance with European data protection regulations. Other Shopware Intelligence features are powered by carefully selected AI models integrated via secure APIs, enabling intelligent assistance while maintaining strict privacy and security standards.

### Is user data accessed or processed by Shopware Intelligence?

Shopware’s AI providers have no access to the merchant’s online store, and any data entered will not be used to train their AI models. Copilot only requests read-only access to a limited set of shop data (such as plugin states, system version, or license information) to personalize its responses. Additionally, Copilot does not process any PII (personally identifiable Information). When a user asks e.g. “What is the address of my top 5 customers?” Copilot is not able to respond to that. 

Shopware may collect user inquiries to continuously improve both Copilot and the overall Shopware product experience, always in line with data protection standards.

### Shopware SaaS, PaaS, or self-hosted? What is the right solution for my business?

Shopware SaaS provides a managed application and hosting environment, including automatic software updates. Shopware PaaS provides managed infrastructure while giving your team greater freedom to customize and develop the application. With self-hosted, you arrange hosting and manage operations yourself or with a partner. With SaaS, hosting and infrastructure maintenance are included in the service. With self-hosted, you budget for hosting and operations separately from any paid Shopware plan. PaaS pricing depends on your infrastructure requirements. Implementation, extensions and other services may add to your total costs.

### Which Shopware plan is right for my business?

Choose based on the capabilities and support your business needs. Community Edition gives you an open-source foundation to build and customize your store. Rise adds AI-assisted content creation, product customization and returns management, with direct support from Shopware. Evolve adds B2B buying capabilities such as quotes and purchasing approvals, advanced search and content targeting for customer groups. Beyond adds customer-specific pricing from external systems, inventory across multiple locations and Digital Sales Rooms. ### How is the price of the Shopware plans calculated?

### Is Shopware Community Edition free?

Yes. [Community Edition](https://www.shopware.com/en/community/community-edition/)’s open-source core has no license fee. You arrange hosting, implementation and maintenance, which may involve additional costs. Paid extensions and payment processing may also incur fees. Access to the Shopware Account and Store is subject to our Fair Usage Policy. If the shops linked to your Account generate more than €1 million in gross merchandise value over the preceding 365 days, you need a paid plan to retain access. You can continue using the Community Edition software independently. Paid plans also add commercial capabilities and direct support from Shopware.
