As a Business Development Manager (m/f/d) you will be responsible for making Shopware visible in the market and for building up the right networks to achieve market leadership in Italy. These are your tasks:
- Building up the network and local communities to deliver presence in Italy
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities with existing and potential partners to expand the Shopware ecosystem
- Approaching potential partners, establishing business relationships and negotiating contracts and business terms to close deals and grow long-term business
- Keeping an eye on the market to identify potential and trends
- Providing the impetus for content campaigns
- Collaborating as part of cross-functional teams with colleagues from development, marketing and sales to enable lean opportunity validations
- Being the business development counterpart to jointly evaluate, develop and gain new business opportunities
This is what you'll bring to the table:
- 5+ years professional sales experience with high customer and service orientation in an international ecommerce environment (experience an ecommerce agency or merchant environment would be a benefit)
- High degree of initiative, sense of responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking
- Experience with agile management methodologies
- Negotiation skills in spoken and written form in Italian AND English, further language skills would be a benefit
