Amisell – the first Shopware 6 online store in Poland

Amisell is an online perfumery from Poland that offers a wide range of unique and niches fragrances for women, men and even children. The online store offers perfumes – both classic, well-known and appreciated all over the world, as well as sophisticated and unusual, which will delight even the most demanding perfume lovers. What makes this online perfumery special is the fact that it offers a wide range of perfumes, including niche brands that are not available elsewhere – all at bargain prices.

Prior to using Shopware 6, Amisell has not already had an online store before because it is a completely new project, created from scratch on Shopware.

When evaluating platforms for the project, Shopware 6 was selected by Amsiell because of its extensive content possibilities:

“We decided to choose Shopware as our online store system because it allows easy content management. It gives us the possibility to add content on our website without a programmer, quite simply by drag & drop. Moreover, we wanted a platform that would make it easier to sell with attractive content. Summing it up, it can be said that the Shopware platform is also easy to implement, which convinced us that we had chosen the right system with Shopware 6” – Amisell.

Shopware 6 allows merchants to enjoy maximum flexibility and freedom in the development of the online store. That is why Shopware Enterprise Partner STRIX proposed this solution for the Amisell brand. The Shopware 6 platform is based on proven and latest technologies, such as the Symfony and Vue.js PHP framework. It is a flexible, efficient and programmer-friendly system architecture. According to STRIX, Shopware allows from the point of view of online store owners, among other things, to create a high-quality customer experience in an online store and allows to manage all sales channels from one place (omnichannel). 

„The implementation of the project was quite a challenge both for the team and for the whole company. However, our developers showed great knowledge of Shopware 6 – the time and energy spent on obtaining Shopware Developer certificates was a good investment in our case”, summarizes Ewelina Kądzielawa, Head of Project Management, at STRIX.

During the implementation of the shop, according to Amisell, the online perfumery was constantly learning the possibilities of Shopware 6, but could also count on support from Shopware, “which was a great value”.

All in all Amisell evaluates the cooperation with Shopware and STRIX very positively. Despite various challenges, they managed to create a shop that is both visually attractive and an efficient ecommerce platform tailored to the needs of their business.

Looking into the future

The company considers to implement new sales channels such as Instagram, which will be now possible with Shopware 6.
