Schöppingen/London, 1 April 2019 – The organisers of Shopware Community Day 2019, which will be held on 23rd May at the Landscape Park (Landschaftspark) in Duisburg, Germany, have confirmed the first top speakers. Judith Williams and Heather Mills will give 2,500 anticipated visitors insight into their personal success stories from the main stage, and the traditional opening keynote speech will be held by Shopware CEO Sebastian Hamann for the first time.
Top speakers with inspiring careers
The Shopware Community Day has long been regarded as of the most extraordinary events in the eCommerce community. This is reinforced due in part to the special networking atmosphere and consistently high-calibre speaker line-up. The ninth edition of this exciting industry event will also feature illustrious personalities, including Judith Williams and Heather Mills. Williams, known among other things for her involvement in the German version of the award-winning TV series "Dragon's Den", will speak on the main stage about her moving story and road to success.
Heather Mills, entrepreneur, world record holder, para-Olympian and founder of VBites, will tell visitors about her inspiring career and the international success of her company.
"We are delighted to have Heather Mills and Judith Williams, two highly successful businesswomen and top-class speakers at this year's SCD. Their exciting stories fit in perfectly with this year's 'Journeys' theme", explains Shopware CEO Sebastian Hamann. Hamann himself will be giving the opening keynote speech for the first time this year, which promises to be the first big highlight of the Shopware Community Day 2019 before other top speakers take to the stage. Guests can look forward to exciting content and exclusive insights into the latest developments in the Shopware universe.
24 hours' worth of talks on four large stages
In addition to Williams and Mills, many other top speakers will give talks on different aspects of the Shopware ecosystem. The new stage concept comprises two other large stages at the Power Plant (Kraftzentrale) in addition to the main stage, as well as one tech-oriented stage in the atmospheric Blower House Complex (Gebläsehallenkomplex). "Our visitors can choose from over 24 hours' worth of content-rich talks and attend those that are of most personal and professional interest to them. We find it very important to look at topics from more than one angle, which is why we have worked with various Shopware employees, partners, developers and external speakers to provide a very interesting array of talks on our four stages that are sure to excite any eCommerce enthusiast", concludes Hamann.
Updates on the speaker line-up will be published by Shopware on the event website at scd.shopware.com over the coming weeks. Interested parties will also find further information and tickets for Shopware Community Day 2019 there.
