Nina Völker and Stefan Zessel to manage shopware sales
Schöppingen, 8 August 2017 – shopware AG is repositioning its sales for the future. From 1st of September, Stefan Zessel as new Director Sales & Relations D-A-CH and Nina Völker as Director Sales & Relations International will manage the sales team for the renowned eCommerce platform provider. Klaus Pieper, previously Sales Director, has decided to accept a new challenge. In the last two and a half years, Pieper had a major contribution to the successful sales growth of shopware AG and thus laid the foundations for the new and more international orientation. As part of the continued internationalisation and expansion of the company, Shopware has now opted for a double appointment at the Director level in Sales.
Stefan Zessel (31), now Director Sales & Relations D-A-CH, has been working in Shopware sales for more than five years. During this time, he already managed the sales activities in the DACH market while focusing on customer and partner satisfaction. Having worked as branch manager for small and medium-sized brand online shops, Stefan Zessel has gained extensive experience and comprehensive eCommerce expertise, which the business management graduate and his team apply in a very practical and pragmatic way to all sales processes.
Nina Völker (34) will manage the international sales activities of shopware AG as Director Sales & Relations International. As such, she will be responsible for further development of the global sales strategy as well as the management of the international sales activities. The business management graduate has more than a decade of experience in sales, commerce, marketing and internationalisation and worked for renowned international companies such as Philips and Gibson Innovations.
"We look forward to bundling our expertise and experience for the benefit of the strategic development of the shopware Sales & Relations department in future. The clear division of responsibilities will allow us to drive our mission to revolutionise digital commerce forward, and we are looking forward to create a future-proof solution for our community, at both the national and international level," the new Directors declared.
