Schöppingen/London, 20 February 2019 – Today, Shopware announced ticket sales for the Shopware Community Day on 23 May 2019 are officially open. With more than 2,500 expected visitors, this is not only one of the most important industry events in eCommerce, but this 9th edition will also be the largest Community Day of all time. As in the previous year, the SCD will again be held at the Landscape Park (Landschaftspark) in Duisburg, Germany.
In the eagerly awaited keynote speech by Shopware CEO Stefan Hamann, online retailers, technology providers, partner agencies, developers and eCommerce enthusiasts will learn about the latest news and visionary ideas emerging from the Shopware ecosystem. In addition, the high-calibre speaker line-up offers more than 20 total hours of exciting specialist knowledge and useful practical tips on several stages. The main theme this year is "Journeys", originating from Shopware’s goal of supporting everyone in the community on their individual paths to success.
True added value and relaxed networking
In addition to new solutions, interesting developments and groundbreaking future trends in eCommerce, the SCD is also about networking – both during the day and in the evening at the legendary aftershow party. "An SCD always feels a little like a school reunion. It's always great fun for us to bring together the many people we meet again and again throughout the year, introduce them to our latest projects, and exchange ideas both with them and with many new faces," says Sebastian Hamann, CEO of shopware AG. Following its successful premiere last year, the Landscape Park (Landschaftspark) in Duisburg will once again serve as event location. "The move to Duisburg last year proved to be the right decision. Not only are the capacities and infrastructural connections right there, but the location serves as the perfect atmosphere," reports Hamann.
Tickets sell out fast
Tickets and further information for the Shopware Community Day 2019 are available at scd.shopware.com. As tickets for previous events have always sold out very quickly, Shopware recommends getting them early to avoid disappointment.
