Bridging research and digital practice

Collaborating to shape digital commerce in Switzerland

Shopware and XeroGrafiX, as Platinum Partners, proudly support the Online Merchant Survey led by Dr. Darius Zumstein, Professor of Digital Marketing at FHNW. This collaboration is all about empowering merchants with real, actionable insights. By championing authentic merchant data, Shopware is the first ecommerce vendor to actively back this initiative.

Insights from 600+ merchants in the DACH region

The Online Merchant Survey is one of the most important studies on digital commerce in the German-speaking world, offering data-driven insights into the realities of ecommerce. In 2025, it will be conducted for the eighth year in a row. Last year, 620 merchants from Switzerland, Austria, and across the DACH region took part – including B2C and B2B retailers as well as manufacturer brands. The results of the latest survey will be published in the 2025 edition of the Online Merchant Study, set to be released in September by ZHAW and FHNW.

As Platinum Partners, Shopware and XeroGrafiX proudly support the study and help make valuable market insights accessible to ecommerce professionals in Switzerland and Austria – providing a trusted foundation for strategic decision-making.
