Hacktober Show & Tell

What it's all about

Every October, the global open source community comes together to celebrate Hacktober - a month dedicated to sharing, learning, and building. This year, Shopware is joining in once again.

This year, we’ll be hosting a Show & Tell month, where we and our community can showcase projects, exchange code examples, share insights, and highlight fresh topics from the developer world.

Throughout October, we’ll gather on Discord - not just once, but all month long. It’s the perfect chance to connect, get inspired, and see what others are working on. Whether you’re a seasoned senior, a curious newcomer, or anywhere in between, you’re warmly invited. Bring your ideas, your projects, or simply your curiosity. We can’t wait to see what you’ll share!

And this year, we’re especially thrilled to welcome our friends from PayPal, who’ll be contributing their own insights and projects along the way.

Discord

Get connected

This month is about more than talks and sessions - it’s about spending time together.

Grab a coffee, join a casual chat, or jump into a lighthearted game on Discord—no agenda, no pressure. It’s the perfect way to relax, connect with others, and enjoy a friendly break between the Show & Tell sessions.

PayPal joins us

This year, we’re especially excited to welcome our friends from PayPal as part of our Hacktober celebrations. They’ll join us throughout the month to share their own projects, fresh ideas, and lessons learned from working at the intersection of development and commerce.

It’s a great chance to hear different perspectives, pick up practical insights, and spark new conversations across the community - in the open, collaborative spirit that Hacktober is all about.
