Important Notice Regarding Fraudulent Claims of Affiliation with Shopware

Shopware has no office, subsidiary, or official partner in India.

We are aware of repeated incidents in the first half of 2025 involving individuals or organizations in India falsely claiming official affiliation with Shopware. These scammers often present themselves as “Shopware partners”, “certified experts”, or even as official representatives of our company. Their goal is to mislead others – often freelancers or software agencies – for fraudulent or deceptive purposes.

We take this seriously and want to clarify:

The facts

  • Shopware AG is headquartered in Germany.

  • We also operate through our U.S. subsidiary, Shopware US, Inc., based in Delaware.

  • Outside of Europe and the United States, we do not maintain any subsidiaries, offices, or authorized representatives.

  • In particular, Shopware has no official presence, partner company, or local representative in India.

  • We do not offer training, jobs, or certifications via third parties in India.

All official information about Shopware, including our global partners and certification programs, is available at: https://www.shopware.com

If someone claims to represent Shopware:

Please be cautious. If you are contacted by someone claiming to represent Shopware (especially via email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, or freelance platforms), please:

  • Do not provide personal or financial information.

  • Do not pay for any training, job opportunity, or software license allegedly “approved” by Shopware.

  • Report the incident confidentially via our official whistleblower portal. You may submit your report anonymously if you prefer.

Official communication channels

Shopware operates official social media and communication accounts on the following platforms:

We do not operate any official Telegram, WhatsApp, or Signal channels for public outreach. If someone contacts you via these platforms claiming to be Shopware – it is almost certainly fraudulent.

Protecting yourself

Be cautious if you encounter the following red flags:

  • Upfront payment requests for Shopware “certification” or “training”.

  • “Job offers” that are not listed on our official Careers page.

  • Use of free email accounts (e.g. Gmail, Yahoo) instead of @shopware.com addresses.

  • Contracts or NDAs that lack official Shopware branding or contact information.

  • Social media profiles or groups not linked from our official website.

Help stop the spread

Please share this information with others who may be at risk. By staying alert, you help protect the Shopware ecosystem and prevent further fraud.
