Meet Shopware Intelligence

Copilot is our built-in AI assistant that empowers you to work smarter. It brings advanced Agentic Commerce capabilities directly into the Shopware Admin — ready to assist with content, products, and operations whenever needed.

We envision Copilot as an agentic AI service that actively supports merchants in managing their online stores. Copilot will analyze store data and detect anomalies, provide actionable recommendations, and perform tasks directly within the Shopware environment on the merchant’s behalf. Our long-term vision is for Copilot to become the central command layer for automating and orchestrating a wide range of tasks across the Shopware administration.

Copilot is currently available to all customers from Shopware 6.7.1.0 onwards. Advanced Copilot Skills can be booked via Shopware Intelligence+ with additional costs from Shopware Version 6.7.3. onwards.

New agentic features are expected to launch starting in June this year, with continuous enhancements planned thereafter.

We are committed to expanding the plan with new services on a monthly basis and will keep you informed through regular updates so you always know what is coming next.

The infrastructure of Copilot is fully hosted in Europe, ensuring data sovereignty and compliance with European data protection regulations. Other Shopware Intelligence features are powered by carefully selected AI models integrated via secure APIs, enabling intelligent assistance while maintaining strict privacy and security standards.

Shopware’s AI providers have no access to the merchant’s online store, and any data entered will not be used to train their AI models. Copilot only requests read-only access to a limited set of shop data (such as plugin states, system version, or license information) to personalize its responses. Additionally, Copilot does not process any PII (personally identifiable Information). When a user asks e.g. “What is the address of my top 5 customers?” Copilot is not able to respond to that.

Shopware may collect user inquiries to continuously improve both Copilot and the overall Shopware product experience, always in line with data protection standards.

Shopware Intelligence+ is a paid add-on that unlocks advanced AI features for your store. It brings together tools for smarter insights, better product visuals, and enhanced 3D experiences, all seamlessly integrated into Shopware and ready to use when you need them.

Getting started with Shopware Intelligence+ is simple. Once you’ve used up your free quota, you can subscribe directly within the service itself. Alternatively, you can activate it anytime from your Shopware admin by navigating to Settings > System > Shopware Services and booking it there. This gives you full flexibility to upgrade exactly when you’re ready to start using the services.

Agentic Commerce refers to online shopping tasks carried out by autonomous AI agents on behalf of users—from product discovery to checkout. At Shopware, we also use this term to describe the use of AI agents within shop administration, where they support merchants by automating routine tasks and streamlining workflows.
