In line with our approach, 2023 marked our foray into AI with the launch of our genAI features, as the first in the commerce platform space. Our collaboration with key players like PayPal, Stripe, and Mollie is grounded in a shared vision of practical, AI-driven advancements. Echoing initiatives like PayPal’s Quantum Leap, we’re embedding AI into the fabric of ecommerce, focusing on real-world applications over abstract concepts. A good example of this mindset is the shipping of the foundation of Spatial Commerce to productive in the last week:

Fun fact: As I eagerly awaited the arrival of Apple's Vision Pro, juggling multiple pre-orders and backup options to ensure I didn't miss out, I ended up with four! True to my nerdy self, I canceled one, sent one to our US team for events, and brought two back to HQ (that, BTW, hopefully, arrive soon). It's a humorous reminder that in our quest for the latest technology, sometimes we end up with more than we bargained for – but in the case of Shopware, every piece of technology is a step towards realizing our vision for the future of commerce.
