Agentic Commerce Alliance Continues to Grow with Strong Wave of New Members

Schöppingen, January 26, 2026 — The Agentic Commerce Alliance (ACA) today announced the addition of a significant group of new members, further strengthening its mission to establish open, interoperable standards for agent-driven commerce and to shape a diverse, autonomous future for digital trade.

The following organizations have joined the Alliance:

Trusted Shops SE, Nexi Group, Adiacent, Agiqon, FactFinder / Omikron, Web Solutions NYC, best it GmbH, Actins AI, Actindo, elio GmbH, synQup GmbH, Upside, vviinn, h1 Webdevelopment, Splendid Internet, Hawksearch / Bridgeline, and XeroGrafiX GmbH.

They are joining existing members such as PayPal, Klaviyo, ChannelEngine, valantic, basecom, Strix, and others to advance their shared mission.

With this expansion, the Agentic Commerce Alliance brings together an increasingly broad network of technology providers, agencies, platforms, and commerce specialists from across Europe and beyond. Together, they are working to lay the foundations for open, agent-driven commerce based on shared standards, interoperability, and merchant-centric data sovereignty.

As AI agents increasingly research products, compare offers, negotiate conditions, and execute transactions autonomously, digital commerce is reaching a critical inflection point. Without open standards, the risk of centralization around a few dominant platforms grows—potentially reducing merchants to commodities and limiting innovation, diversity, and consumer choice.

The Agentic Commerce Alliance addresses this challenge by developing principles and frameworks that enable merchants of all sizes to participate in agent-to-agent commerce while retaining control over their brand, customer relationships, and operational logic.

“Agentic Commerce will fundamentally reshape competition in digital commerce,” said Michael Pfeiffer, VP AI & Agentic Commerce at Shopware. “The key question is whether this transformation will be open, interoperable, and merchant-centric—or whether it will create new dependencies. With each new member, the Alliance grows stronger as an ecosystem committed to openness, innovation, and digital sovereignty.”

The Alliance focuses on two core objectives. First, it aims to ensure that merchants can succeed in the emerging bot economy without surrendering control to centralized AI platforms. Second, it seeks to leverage AI as a driver of meaningful differentiation—enabling personalized experiences, automated processes, immersive commerce formats, and high-quality service beyond purely price-driven decisions.

With a rapidly growing and diverse member base, the Agentic Commerce Alliance underscores its ambition to play a leading role in shaping the next evolution of digital commerce—one that is autonomous, ethical, and open by design.
