Schöppingen/Berlin, Germany 12th January 2016 – Rausch GmbH supplements the sales of its high-quality chocolate in the retail sector with a new online shop. In addition to the point-of-sale in the Rausch Schokoladenhaus in Berlin, the products can only be purchased online in the future. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the shop was recently launched by Shopware’s partner, Neofonie, using Shopware 5.1 as the basis.
Since their founding in 1918, the family-owned company has focused on manufacture and sales of their high-quality chocolate products. The longevity of their success can be traced back to the company’s swift reaction to market changes, which can be seen once again in their decision to implement an online shop based on Shopware 5.1.
The new shop builds upon the strengths of the current Shopware version, 5.1, and pay special attention to providing an emotional, intuitive shopping experience. In their vision, the customer should have the same browsing experience as in their chocolate showroom in Berlin, “strolling” through the assortment and feeling their way towards making an online purchase, no matter which device is being used.
The value that Rausch places on online trade can clearly be seen in their new business model. Next to telephone and online orders, Rausch products can only be purchased in their showroom in Mitte, a trendy neighborhood in Berlin. The atmospheric shop was ranked the #1 shopping destination in Germany’s capital city on TripAdvisor.
“We are enthusiastic about the implementation of the shop by our partner Neofonie. The brand Rausch fits well with values like quality and tradition which sits well with Shopware. The new online shop captures this spirit well and tells an evocative story – it’s a strong example of how Shopware 5 shops can look,” said Sebastian Hamann, CEO of Shopware.
From the side of Rausch, they are also pleased with the outcome of the project. “It was time for a comprehensive, digital transformation. With Neofonie, we found an experience technology provider, and with Shopware the appropriate software, to implement our vision,” says Robert Rausch, CEO of Rausch GmbH.
You can find more information on Neofonie’s website (German).
