Utrecht / Schöppingen, February 25, 2026 – The organizer of the largest e-commerce trade fair in the Netherlands, Webwinkel Vakdagen (WWV), and the leading open commerce platform Shopware are continuing their international event partnership in 2026. Once again, the collaboration will focus on the mutual support of the two flagship events, Webwinkel Vakdagen and Shopware Community Day (SCD).
Last year, the partnership already proved to be an effective lever for expanding reach, visibility, and added value for shared target audiences. In 2026, both partners will again be present at each other’s events and support one another through comprehensive marketing and communication activities.
With more than 13,000 visitors, around 290 exhibitors, and over 200 lectures and presentations in various formats, Webwinkel Vakdagen in Utrecht is the most important e-commerce event in the Netherlands and a central meeting point for the digital commerce market in the Benelux region.
In 2026, Shopware Community Day will bring together around 1,700 merchants, developers, and e-commerce enthusiasts and is considered one of the most important industry events in the European e-commerce landscape, thanks to its unique program and strong community focus.
As part of the partnership, both organizers have agreed to maintain an active presence at each other’s events in 2026 and to provide mutual support. The goal is to leverage synergies, learn from each other, and reach shared target audiences even more effectively in their respective core markets.
“We have been exhibiting at Webwinkel Vakdagen for twelve years. The Netherlands is one of our most important markets, and the event provides an excellent platform each year to showcase our open commerce solutions and services to a highly relevant audience,” says Martin Gaubitz, VP Marketing Europe at Shopware. “Continuing the event partnership between Webwinkel Vakdagen and Shopware Community Day is a logical step for us and a strong signal of the importance of the Dutch market.”
“Webwinkel Vakdagen has long been the epicenter of the digital commerce market in the Benelux region,” adds Han Bosman, CEO of Webwinkel Vakdagen. “We are very pleased to continue our successful collaboration with Shopware in 2026 and to jointly create added value for merchants, brands, and technology partners.”
