Shopware PaaS is designed to handle changing traffic patterns reliably, including high-demand periods like Black Friday. Today, each environment has a maximum capacity agreed upon during onboarding. Within this range, you can flexibly adjust resource usage. This ensures predictable performance and cost control, while still allowing you to adapt to normal traffic fluctuations. For exceptional peak events like Black Friday, our team can proactively scale and “pre-warm” the infrastructure to ensure your storefront performs smoothly under increased load. If additional capacity beyond the agreed limits is required, it can be arranged. Looking ahead, we are evolving towards more dynamic autoscaling capabilities, this will enable the platform to automatically add or reduce application instances based on metrics like CPU usage or workload demand
