
A historic moment for the Shopware Community
On September 16, 2025, the time had finally come: At the Shopware Community Day (SCD), the Shopware Visionary Award was presented for the very first time. Under the motto Celebrating the Bold, Shopware honored companies that don’t just participate in digital commerce – but courageously rethink it, push boundaries, and shape the ecommerce of tomorrow.
The award recognizes visionary B2B and B2C merchants that combine excellence, emotion, and efficiency in outstanding ways. A jury of Shopware management and award sponsor Mollie selected the three winners.

From nomination to jury decision
The path to the winners was a multi-stage process: First, customers and partners were invited to nominate online stores. From all submissions, Shopware created a shortlist of twelve merchants, which were then presented in the Community Hub. There, the community had the chance to support their favorites. Based on this, six finalists were chosen – and from these, the jury selected the three ultimate winners.
