Schöppingen, 23 March 2026 – Following the successful inaugural edition last year, Shopware is once again presenting the Shopware Visionary Award this year—an award that recognises e-commerce companies boldly shaping the future of commerce. Whether B2B or B2C, the award puts visionary shops in the spotlight that combine technological excellence with creative innovation—setting new standards in digital commerce.
The three winners will be officially announced at Shopware Community Day (SCD) on 10 June 2026 in Cologne. Companies and individuals can currently nominate online shops they believe deserve the award. Applications are open until and including 31 March 2026. Details on the process are available on the award website.
Exclusive prizes for the winners
Winners of the Shopware Visionary Award can look forward to a range of benefits: an exclusive award trophy, a digital badge for free use, a charitable donation made in the winner’s name, and high-reach social media promotion by Shopware.
The award is open to operators of Shopware 6 shops. A nominated shop should stand out in at least one of the following areas:
Excellence – Technical brilliance and a passion for innovation
Emotion – Inspiring user journeys and brand experience
Efficiency – Smart processes and strong performance
The jury
The winners will be selected from a shortlist of finalists by a jury made up of senior leaders at Shopware. Shopware founders and Co-CEOs Stefan Hamann and Sebastian Hamann, as well as Shopware CPTO Mark Stanley, will provide the final evaluation of the submitted shops.
