Last week the Shopware Community Day opened its doors for the 9th time in Shopware history. Around 2,500 eCommerce enthusiasts flocked to Duisburg's Landscape Park to follow the eagerly awaited news on the Shopware product roadmap.

Among them naturally also many partner agencies, which represent an important aspect of the Shopware ecosystem. Aside from the announcement of Shopware 6, on this already very special Community Day, the Shopware Partner network also stood on the spotlight.

Shopware Partner Awards presented for the second time in Shopware history

A crowning finale at this year's SCD was the presentation of the Partner Awards. The Shopware Partner Awards were presented for the first time in October 2017.

With the awards we honour particularly committed and successful Shopware partners. In contrast to 2017, this year we presented an award in each of our focus markets, as well as a Newcomer Award.

When selecting the award winners, various criteria for each market were taken into consideration, including license sales, the number of active assigned customers, events, community building, and certifications.

It was not possible for partners to actively apply for the awards. On the basis of the criteria described above, a detailed matrix was created with which objective results could be determined. The relevant period for consideration was from October 2017 to April 2019.

Best Partner UK/IR 2019

StudioForty9 

StudioForty 9 joined the Shopware partner network two years ago and has been promoting Shopware brand awareness in the UK and Ireland ever since. The agency advises clients across borders on its omnichannel strategy, including leading retailers such as Aurivo/Homeland and DID Electrical.

Sition

In 2014, Sition became as Shopware a partner – at a time when Shopware was still unknown in the Dutch market. Five years of partnership have since passed quickly and a lot has happened during that time. Our winning agency has invested a great deal to increase our brand awareness in the Dutch market. In the last 18 months alone, Sition has been able to win some large local projects for itself and Shopware and even double its employee headcount to accompany its growth.

NEXUS United

In keeping with Journey's SCD theme, NEXUS has also undergone an impressive journey with Shopware. In 2015, they joined Shopware and quickly became one of its most important partners. Since then, we have implemented more than ten enterprise projects together with NEXUS. These include major customers from the coffee and automotive industries. But here the journey is far from over. With the expansion into various areas such as IoT or Business Centric, the winner also creates further synergies with regard to Shopware 6.

XeroGrafiX

Our winning agency from Austria has been inspiring its customers for over 15 years. Modern and creative are the essential characteristics to the Shopware partner from the Alps. For four years now, the agency has been creating sophisticated Shopware solutions for a wide range of customers. Thanks to many years of expertise, several customers have been convinced of Shopware in a joint effort.

Our winner from Switzerland has been using Shopware since 2014. According to the "Swiss made" standard, the partner convinces in their projects with quality and individuality. In close cooperation with Shopware, several Swiss customers have already been convinced of Shopware as an eCommerce solution.
