Benefits of Shopware:
Elevated brand presence
With Shopware 6, Schlossberg reflected their boutique in-store shopping experience to their online store. The redesign focuses on craftsmanship and exclusivity, strengthening brand perception and customer loyalty in an omnichannel experience.
Personalized shopping experiences
The modular set configurator enables users to select combinations of items (cushion covers, blankets, sheets) in over 20 size variations based on their needs and country variant, from a single page. Meanwhile the flexible CMS gives editors full control over storytelling for a combination that drivers higher order values, smoother campaigns, and a premium experience mirroring an in-store consultation.
Scalable operations and support
ERP integration has made fulfilment across Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria and Germany more efficient. Supported by partner 7thSENSE, Schlossberg now operates on a stable, future-proof platform that reduces complexity and supports international growth.
What next?

The Challenge
Schlossberg Switzerland faced a pivotal moment when it set out on a digital relaunch on Shopware 6 with 7thSENSE. Their aim was to reflect the boutique quality of their physical stores and products into its online store, making a seamless link between in-store exclusivity and ecommerce.
Their inspiration was the products themselves, presenting premium bed linen and textiles in a way that matched customer expectations of craftsmanship and design.
This meant solving for multiple complexities at once. A modular product configurator was essential for Schlossberg, as it wanted customers to be able to design their own unique linen sets. Meanwhile their own team needed flexibility from their CMS tools to be able to craft content that truly reflected the brand’s identity. Operationally, ERP integration was essential for planned growth across Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria and Germany.

Warum Shopware?
The decision was guided by three principles: customer & brand experience, operational efficiency, and long-term scalability. As the team was already familiar with Shopware 5, the move to Shopware 6 opened new opportunities, while enabled more development and everyday updates to be done internally. At the same time, Shopware’s integration readiness ensured compatibility with Microsoft Dynamics, securing a stable operational backbone.
The combination meant Shopware aligned not only with Schlossberg’s growth ambitions but understood the importance of its heritage.
“With Shopware 6, we have the flexibility to shape the customer journey independently while laying a strong foundation for international growth. The platform allows us to move quickly, stay true to our brand, and scale with confidence.” – Pascal Hengartner, Head of E-Commerce & Performance Marketing at Schlossberg
The Solution
Working with 7thSENSE as their trusted partner, the project combined a full UX/UI redesign with technical implementation and ERP integration.

Key elements included:
- Accessible interface: A modern interface accessible to all customer groups, especially where complex processes are concerned, with simple, clear structures that guide customers through the world of Schlossberg.
- Set configurator: Customers can assemble and personalize bed linen and towel sets directly in their cart, mirroring the consultation-led boutique experience they would receive in-store.
- Custom CMS elements: Internally, editors gained autonomy to create immersive, mobile-optimized landing pages, reducing the time-to-market for new campaigns.
- Integration: The ability to integrate with Microsoft Dynamics allowed for a seamless connection between sales, inventory, and logistics. Meanwhile Klaviyo set them up for a modern, personalised customer approach throughout the entire customer journey.
“Shopware 6, with its mix of commerce, content and a robust ecosystem, enables the realization of projects that appear simple on the front end but are complex within the system” – Robin Schnaidt, Head of Consulting & Sales at 7thSENSE
The Results
The relaunch on Shopware 6 has positioned Schlossberg’s products and brand experience at the heart of its ecommerce presence. Customers now enjoy a boutique-style journey that matches the exclusivity of its textiles. Internally, the team has become more efficient, as editors can manage content independently, and operational teams benefit from integrated systems and streamlined logistics.
The highlights:
A digitally tangible brand and product experience
Increased personalization through modular configuration, meaning 4x more product variants can be offered without overloading customers
Significant improvement in technical SEO
4h saved weekly from a more efficient order process
35% fewer process errors in the logistics process
“One of the challenges in the project was to find the optimal balance between conversion-optimized UX, brand experience (“Experience Schlossberg”), and the product-complexity. Together with the team of Schlossberg, our designers created a fantastic design model in the first step, and our technical colleagues did a great job implementing it with Shopware — and the online store’s figures speak for themselves.” – Robin Schnaidt, Head of Consulting & Sales at 7thSENSE
Looking ahead, the brand plans to expand personalization, explore additional international markets, and continue enhancing the digital experience in line with its boutique heritage.
Schlossberg has successfully combined timeless craftsmanship with modern ecommerce, to set themselves up for growth whilst keeping their values and heritage at the heart of it all.
