OPEN is a full-service digital agency with teams in Cologne, Berlin, and Kassel. Since 1999, we have been developing custom digital solutions and supporting companies through the conception, implementation, and ongoing development of their Shopware projects.

Our services range from analysis and technical conception to UX, design, and development, as well as interfaces, AI integration, and process automation. Our Shopware, frontend, design, and architecture teams work closely together, implementing projects entirely in-house.


We develop Shopware solutions for both B2C and B2B business models – from near-standard shops to complex, custom platforms. This includes new shops, relaunches, migrations, custom storefronts, headless frontends, plugins, extensions, as well as performance and quality optimization.


Together with our clients, we plan a robust shop architecture, focusing on scalability, maintainability, security, integration capability, and a sound economic framework.


Another key focus is connecting existing system landscapes. We integrate ERP, PIM, CRM, search, payment, logistics, and marketing systems, among others, as well as custom APIs. Through projects for providers such as PAYONE, Billie, and Ratepay, we have particular expertise in the payment sector.


UX and accessibility are also an integral part of our work. We design consistent, responsive, and target-group-appropriate user experiences and, where needed, implement fully custom frontends.
