Schöppingen, Germany 16th March 2016 – On 20th May 2016, the doors for the Shopware Community Day will reopen for the sixth consecutive year. Hosted by the shop system manufacturer, Shopware, the event is now considered one of the most important eCommerce fairs in Germany. The organizer expects more than 1,600 shop owners, agencies and developers to meet in Ahaus, Germany, to gather exciting insight into the future of online trade. The 2016 Shopware Community Day is themed “Digital Blue” and tickets are now available for purchase.
This year’s event theme, “Digital Blue”, references the extensive, varied and, in many cases, unexplored “Digital Ocean”. Shopware spokesman Wiljo Krechting said of the modern theme: “Similar to the ocean depths, eCommerce follows the classic laws of nature: eat or be eaten, growth and reproduction and survival of your own species. In eCommerce, this largely depends on the use of advanced and visionary technology.”
Shopware once again welcomes distinguished speakers from various fields of eCommerce and other industries to share their collective knowledge regarding online trade. Presentations take place on the main stage and in various session rooms and cover innovations, upcoming trends and practical tips, igniting completely new perspectives of eCommerce. “As a shop system manufacturer, we pay particular attention to research and innovation. We want to share our knowledge with the Community,” said Wiljo Krechting. Among other things, attendees can look forward to the eagerly anticipated Shopware keynote, which presents the upcoming Shopware 5.2 and its new features.
Another highlight of the Shopware Community Day is the now legendary after party, which takes place in the jungle-themed bar, Bamboo, directly next to the event location. Contacts made during the day can be deepened further in a relaxed networking atmosphere with cool drinks, food and music.
In recent years, tickets for the Shopware Community Day sold out within only a few days. Visitors are therefore encouraged to react quickly when it comes to purchasing their tickets.
