Webscale, the cloud platform for modern commerce, today announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Shopware AG, a leading ecommerce system used by some of the largest European brands, retailers and manufacturers across both B2C and B2B industries. The agreement makes Webscale the first cloud delivery engine for Shopware deployments in North America.

At this year’s Shopware Community Day, Shopware celebrated its open commerce philosophy together with 5,000 digital attendees. On three virtual stages and in over 30 masterclasses, the software company introduced ground-breaking new features, inspired with spectacular speakers like Gary Vaynerchuk and Steve Wozniak, and presented a world premiere for the new infotainment platform Shopware TV.


On September 2nd 2021, the Shopware Community Day will take place for the eleventh time – and with the most exceptional speaker line-up in the history of the SCD, including presentations from Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak and Gary Vaynerchuk, one of the leading global experts on culture, relevance and the internet, plus an additional 90 speakers on three virtual stages. The participation for the digital event is free of charge.


shopware AG breaks new ground when it comes to infotainment: today the software provider released a video-on-demand service with content about all things ecommerce. In doing so, Shopware becomes the first company to launch such a project, making it a pioneer in the industry. The free streaming service “Shopware TV” gives viewers access to entertaining videos in addition to business-relevant information. Two elaborately produced series with up to five episodes are already available. More formats will follow gradually.


Today sees the release of Shopware 6.4, the latest version of shopware AG’s software line. With this release a highly anticipated feature is added to the software: Shopware Markets. This new service was created in collaboration with Shopware’s partner brickfox and enables shop operators to seamlessly connect their shop to the Amazon and eBay marketplaces – making the transfer of data, information and processes as convenient as possible.


The Shopware partner network continues to grow and today, the leading ecommerce platform is happy to announce another strong addition. Overdose, a leading global full-service digital agency, is the latest Shopware Enterprise partner to join the ecosystem.
